CHRISTINA Aguilera and Adam Levine aren’t at war… but there is tension between the two.
In their mission to coach the leading contestant on The Voice, Aguilera and Levine’s turbulent relationship has seen many arguments on-air.
But Aguilera insists their interaction on the show is only the result of the singers’ similar personalities.
“We’re both very passionate, but it isn’t personal with Adam,” she told Fox News. “We’re just very strong personalities.”
Aguilera also noted her newfound outlook on life and credited charity work for her positive attitude. She returned to The Voice after a hiatus, during which she and her son Max spent in Rwanda working with the United Nations.
“The time off made me see more than ever that [the competition] isn’t about it,” she said. “It’s about the contestants.”
Aguilera reiterated that she is “enjoying life now more than ever before” and imparted advice to not only her fans but to aspiring artists.
“Be patient. And good to yourself,” she wrote. “Appreciate the courage it takes to give yourself and put yourself out there in the forefront.”
